Anastasios Kladis (male) holds a BEng (Hons) in Mining & Metallurgical Engineering (NTUA, Greece), an MSc in Mineral Economics (University of Nottingham, UK) and professional training from INSEAD, France and IMD, Switzerland. He has more than 20 years of experience in Business Development, mainly in Industrial Minerals. He has held various positions at S&B Industrial Minerals Group: Bauxite Division Marketing Manager (1998-99), New Business Development Division Marketing Manager (2000-01), Strategic Sourcing & Business Development Manager in Otavi Minerals Division (2002-05), where he was deeply involved in the sourcing of Spodumene from Australia and its trading in major European consumers for several applications (e.g. glass-ceramics/oventops, ceramics and glass), General Manager in Wollastonite business in China (Orykton GmbH JV with S&B and Quarzwerke) (2006-2008), Business Development Manager Perlite Division (2008-11), Global Specialties Market Manager – Global Marketing Organization (2011-2014),. During his career he managed several successful European Commission funded programs in minerals and materials. Mr Kladis has started and developed several JVs in wollastonite, perlite, vermiculite and bentonite in Turkey, China and India, and contributed significantly in the strategic planning for key acquisitions like Stolberg and NYCO Minerals. Prior to S&B Tassos was Sales Manager in Eleusis Bauxite Mines S.A. In 2015 he has established AdMiRIS with other experienced minerals and metallurgy experts.
